About iChart: iBilling Module
iBilling is a code reference and capture tool for organizing diagnoses and procedure codes. Diagnoses are collected as part of a patient problem form and are stored and displayed within iNotes and online billing reports via iChart Sync. All ICD9 Dx codes are included and are arranged in a quick navigation browser that can be searched by chapter/subchapter or by description and/or code number. Look-up is facilitated by a built-in index of keywords linked to diagnosis codes. Only valid numeric ICD9 codes may be selected for inclusion, thereby reducing coding errors. A favorites list is also available for one step coding.
iBilling captures procedure codes in the same manner, via a quick browser that lists codes by chapter/subchapter as well as by description and code number look-up. A complete set of CPT4 codes is included. A favorites list is also available for one step coding. The procedure code intake form also allows the user to enter up to 4 linked Dx codes and CPT4 extensions. Code-sets can be downloaded from iChart Sync to customize the user's favorites lists.
