Adding a Billing Code

Select the list to view via the title bar options. Default selection is Dx Codes. Next Select the " + " button.

For Problems/Dx fill in the form. Problems are included in notes and do not require a Dx code.

Select add to favorites to place a copy of the selected code on your favorites list. To delete an item from the favorites list, use a backwards swipe gesture and a Delete button will be displayed.

Select a Dx code via the DX menu option, thus displaying a Dx code browser. Default list is the favorites list.

NOTE: To remove a Fav item reverse swipe the item, then press the "delete" button.

Selecting "All" mode displays a tree view of all the ICD-9 Dx items via chapter. Search via keyword or number via the search box.

Once a list item is selected, all selectable codes are shown in green, grey codes will display further codes.

Use the back arrow to go back to prior tree nodes. Once a code is found select Save or the back arrow button at the top to go back to the Dx form.

The same process applies to Procedure Codes. Select the Proc. Codes button first to change list modes.

Note: Procedure codes may be captured with linked Dx codes. Favorites can be saved that include the procedure code as well as the linked Dx codes.
Use iChart Sync to view uploaded billing codes and print a billing report.
